Course Plan

Week 1 - Managing Worries and Anxieties with Resilience
Learning to use a resilience-based approach to manage mental health challenges is an important first step on this journey you’ve embarked on. Counteracting your symptoms with strengths will help you understand the complexity and coherence of your personality so you can deal with stressors and challenges in a resilient manner.
Week 2 - Using Your Strengths to Deal with Stress
Due to negativity bias, spotting weaknesses and deficits is much easier for us than spotting strengths. Hence, we spend too much time focussing on our weaknesses and the things about ourselves and our lives that we don’t like that we don’t have enough space to focus on our strengths.
Week 3 - Overcoming Negative Memories
From grudge to gratitude: Dampening the impact of negative memories and cultivating skills to slow down, savor, and appreciate the genuine good and positive, will be our prime focus this week.
Week 4 - Positive Emotions and Relationships
In our final week together, let’s take a closer look at positive emotions and their effect on relationships, from building empathy and perspective-taking, to fostering positive relationships supported by your strengths. We will also delve a little deeper into the importance of kindness, meaning and purpose, and leaving your lasting positive legacy.
