Stillness is the space between thoughts, actions, stimuli, and movement. It is a state of calm, peace, and neutrality, in which we are able to simply observe ourselves (and the world around us) without any judgment. It’s a chance to not only pause for a breath, and to calm the mind, but to also notice the stillness between each breath, and the tranquility that we feel in that quietness. A chance to just be. 

In this different style of mindfulness meditation, rather than focusing on something or actively doing something - such as employing visualization - we will instead be bringing awareness to the stillness between it all. 

While this meditation is more well-suited for people who have already experienced meditation and are looking for the next step in quieting the mind, it can be enjoyed by all, and practiced as often as you like.
