Soothing Rain with Chimes and Sound Bowls

The sound of rain can help soothe and calm us. It’s considered “pink noise” - a constant sound that produces a steady hum in the background, which can filter out other distracting noises - and researchers have found that the sound of rain can actually help produce alpha waves in the brain, which are the brainwaves affiliated with a reflective, restful state.

In this meditation, the gentle pitter-patter of rain on leaves is enhanced by the song of Koshi chimes and crystal sound bowls played by Sound Healing practitioner Yi-Hwa Hanna. As the rain offers its sense of tranquility, the bowls and chimes help to raise the vibrational frequency, cultivating a sense of deep serenity.

This soothing track can be listened to while you rest, work, or sleep - please avoid listening to it while you are driving, operating machinery, or anything else that could affect your safety if you lose focus and nod off.
