What you'll experience

One element of yoga a day, warming up, standing, seated, backbends, sun salutations, then day seven puts them together into a sequence that is yours.

Postural Alignment

How to hold each pose safely, and which parts of the body are lengthening or strengthening.

Props and Modifications

Blocks and straps used properly, plus variations that fit your actual ability today.

Foundational Poses

Standing, balancing, seated forward folds, hip openers and backbends, taught one group at a time.

Sun Salutations

The postures that make them up, their benefits, and the modifications for your level.

Breath and Mindfulness

Breathwork techniques and mindfulness tools that change what the movement does for you.

Your Own Sequence

Day seven is the point: a personalised sequence you can run at home, indefinitely.

Where most people stall

Always meant to start yoga?

The barriers are usually practical rather than physical, time, space, cost, or simply not knowing what to do once the mat is out.

Illustration of starting a home yoga practice
Classes feel intimidating

Everyone else appears to know the sequence, and asking a question mid-flow is not really an option.

You don't know what to do at home

You can follow a video, but you could not build twenty minutes of practice on your own.

You worry about doing it wrong

Alignment is the thing nobody explains, so you hold poses hoping they are roughly right.

Time and cost add up

Studio classes need a slot in the diary and a fee each time. Practice at home needs neither.

Learn the elements, not a routine

Following along teaches you one sequence. Understanding standing poses, hip openers, backbends and sun salutations separately means you can assemble any number of them, in the privacy and comfort of your own home.

What changes

From following along to practising on your own.

Yoga promotes physical flexibility and mental relaxation at the same time. The aim here is that you can reach for both without needing a class, a teacher or a particular hour of the day.

The foundations, properly

A greater understanding of what makes a well-rounded practice, and the techniques that improve it.

A real range of poses

Foundational postures with modifications to suit your ability, rather than one version to struggle with.

Confidence in your own practice

Improve flexibility, reduce stress and feel better, without second-guessing whether you are doing it right.

Sequences you built yourself

By the end of the challenge you have created a series of your own, ready to practise regularly.

What you will learn in the 7-Day Yoga Challenge
No studio, no audience, no fee per class.

Short daily sequences you can do in the space you already have. Dina also covers the situations where yoga may not be right for you, which is the part most beginner courses leave out.

Right now

Yoga is something you attend.

  • Practice depends on a class being on at a time that suits
  • You follow a video without knowing why the poses are in that order
  • Alignment is guesswork, so you avoid the poses you are unsure about
  • Miss a fortnight and you are effectively starting again
After seven days

Yoga is something you do.

  • You can roll out a mat and know exactly how to fill twenty minutes
  • You understand what each group of poses is for
  • You know how to modify a pose with a block, a strap or your own knees
  • The practice belongs to you, so it survives a busy fortnight

In the studio

Dina teaches Jivamukti classes across Dubai, open to all levels, combining vigorous vinyasa with philosophy, chanting and meditation.

In organisations

She has led corporate mindfulness sessions for Google, movement and breathwork at Art Dubai, and well-being programmes with Nike, Rolls-Royce, Emirates and Shell.

Who it's for

For anyone who wants yoga to fit their life.

Complete beginners

Never done yoga, or tried once and felt lost. Day one starts with what you need before you begin.

You've been meaning to restart

The practice lapsed and picking it up again feels harder than starting did.

Studio classes don't fit

Time, cost or scheduling rules them out. Home practice removes all three.

You follow videos but don't understand them

You want to know why the poses are ordered as they are, so you can order your own.

You want flexibility and calm

Yoga delivers both at once, which is unusual and the reason it has lasted.

Existing practitioners

If your alignment was never formally taught, this fills in the foundation underneath it.

Inside the challenge

Seven days, nine lessons, one sequence that's yours.

Everything you need and nothing you don't: 9 short lessons with expert videos, short daily yoga sequences, two hours of on-demand learning and lifetime access to the videos and notes. A certificate of completion comes with it.

The seven days

One element a day, then you assemble it.

Days one to six build the vocabulary, how to arrive, stand, sit, bend and flow. Day seven is where it becomes your own sequence.

Day 1Getting Started

The elements of a well-rounded yoga practice. Dina covers how to support your practice through the use of props, what to wear, and how to set up the right space at home. The session also covers a few situations where yoga may not be right for you, which is worth knowing before day two rather than after.

Day 2Arrival & Warm-Up

The gentle practice of arriving into the body, and why it matters for the nervous system. This session covers the poses that warm the body up before moving into the more dynamic elements of a practice, the part most people skip and then wonder why the rest feels difficult.

Day 3Standing & Balancing Postures

How standing postures build the foundation for stability in your practice. This session covers standing posture alignment, how to support yourself better with props, and, as you go, which parts of the body are being lengthened and which are being strengthened by each pose.

Day 4Seated Poses: Hamstrings & Hips

Seated postures, primarily forward folds and hip openers. The session covers hip mobility, how seated forward folds lengthen the hamstrings, how to keep the integrity of the spine in these poses, and the basics of the supportive props, blocks and straps.

Day 5Backbending & Neutralizing Postures

How spinal movement works and how to enter backbends safely by activating the back body, plus which parts of the body need to be open to support the backbend. The session closes with the neutralising postures for the spine that should follow any backbending practice.

Day 6Sun Salutations

The ins and outs of sun salutations, their benefits, the postures that make them up, and the different modifications you can use to support your level of practice. This is the sequence most home practices are built around, so it gets a session of its own.

Day 7Putting It All Together & Creating Your Own Sequence

Everything from the previous six days assembled into a personalised sequence you can feel secure using at home. The final session also integrates the additional elements, setting an intention, meditation, and the closing posture, savasana.

Before you join

Everything you may want to know.

Still unsure? Email support@infijoy.com and we will answer.

Do I need any yoga experience?

None. The challenge is built for anyone who has always wanted to start yoga, or to make it a more regular part of life. Day one begins with props, clothing and setting up your space, and every pose comes with modifications to suit your ability.

What equipment do I need?

A mat and enough floor space to lie down. Day one covers how props such as blocks and straps can support your practice, and days three and four show how to use them, but you can substitute household objects while you decide whether to buy any.

How much time does each day take?

Two hours of on-demand learning in total across nine short lessons, so roughly fifteen to twenty minutes a day including the guided sequence. The seven days do not have to be consecutive.

Is there anyone who shouldn't do this?

Day one covers the situations where yoga may not be right for you, and Dina addresses this directly rather than in passing. If you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or managing a condition affecting your joints, spine, blood pressure or balance, please speak to your doctor before starting. Work within your range and stop if a pose causes pain rather than effort.

What will I gain?

Across the seven days you will:

  • Understand the foundations of a well-rounded practice and techniques to improve
  • Work through each element of a self-practice, from postural alignment to sequencing
  • Learn a wide range of foundational poses and the modifications that suit your ability
  • Discover how props, breathwork and mindfulness tools enhance your practice
  • Become more confident practising alone, improving flexibility and reducing stress
  • Finish having created a series of your own sequences to practise regularly
Can I start anytime?

Yes. Start whenever you are ready and work at your own pace. Lifetime access means you can repeat any session, most people return to day six on sun salutations and day seven on sequencing more than once.

What style of yoga is it?

Dina is a Jivamukti-certified teacher, a vinyasa-based tradition that combines movement with philosophy, breath and meditation. The challenge itself teaches foundational postures applicable to any style, so it transfers if you later join a class of a different kind.

What qualifications does Dina Ghandour have?

Dina is a Jivamukti Yoga 300-hour certified teacher and a Usui Reiki Master, and has been teaching since 2015. She is a UAE-based wellness professional working across yoga, meditation, bodywork and energy healing, and delivers corporate wellness programmes for organisations including Rolls-Royce, Emirates, Shell and Google.

How long do I have access?

Lifetime access to all nine lessons and the accompanying notes, so you can return to any session whenever you need it.

Is this a substitute for medical advice?

No. This is educational well-being content. It is not medical advice, physiotherapy, or treatment for any injury or condition. If you have any concerns about whether yoga is suitable for you, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional first.

Begin today

Seven days from now, you'll have a practice of your own.
